What services/tools I need in order to run the Better Crypto Signals strategy?

In order to run the strategy, you need the following:
- TBT Club Signals tier (or higher) subscription
- TradingView account
- Trading platform account
- Crypto exchange account

Do I have to have a paid TradingView account?

You don't need a paid TradingView plan. However, note that the free plan does have multiple limitations like you can only have maximum of 5 alerts, meaning you can set up a maximum of 5 bots. Also, the free plan has a limitation on how long a single alert can last which means that if you're on free plan you have to renew the alert every couple of months. Finally, the free plan let's you save only one layout. Though it's not required, ideally you would want to have a layout saved for each bot signal you're setting up. What all this ultimately means is you can set up to 5 bots on a free plan and it will work. Ideally, you would want to have a paid plan so you can get around some or all of the mentioned limitations, depending which TradingPlan you sign up for.

Do I need to sign up for the trading platform paid plan?

This depends on the trading platform of your choice, but in general yes. The two most popular platforms in our community are 3Commas and Altrady, each having their pros and cons. In order to run the strategy you do need at least a Pro plan on 3Commas or Basic plan on Altrady.

Please note that both 3Commas and Altrady have a sole discretion of changing the service plans and what they entail so the above mentioned plans can be renamed or restructured in a way you may need a different plan. Make sure you check the offer for each of the above mentioned platforms so you make sure you sign up for the appropriate one.

Also note that there are many others trading platform, but we cannot guarantee the strategy can be implemented as we have worked with 3Commas and Altrady. Pionex was one of these other trading platforms but according to our knowledge at the time of writing this article, it doesn't have the necessary capabilities in order to implement the Better Crypto Signals strategy.

Can I use the strategy only on specific exchange(s) or can I use any exchange that I have an account with?

When setting up the strategy in TradingView it will give you a message about the suggested exchange. However, it is not mandatory to use that specific exchange. The video guide that you get access to by signing up for the service explains how to configure the alert so it uses the exchange you're using even if it differs from the suggested one.
Important note: You have to make sure is that the exchange on which you want to trade on is supported by the trading platform for bot trading. You can get that information by checking out the website of the trading platform you want to use or by reaching out to their support.

How is the strategy implemented?

There are several pieces of the strategy implementation, one of them being connecting your TradingView account to the bot trading platform. There entire process is explained in a step by step video guide that is part of the Club web portal to which you get access when you sign up for the service. 

How is the connection between an exchange and TradingView made?

The connection is made by using the webhook though which the TradingView alert sends information to the trading platform bot. Your exchange account is connected to the trading platform through API connection. We provide you with detailed guide on how to set up the connection between the TradingView and the trading platform. As for connecting your exchange account to the trading platform, please refer to the trading platform of choice knowledge base or their support.

How much money do I need to budget in order to be able to run the strategy?

At the time of writing this article, a budget of ~$1,500 is needed to cover the expenses of the TBT Club Signal tier and Altrady Basic plan and make breakeven. This doesn't include the paid Trading plan. We offer a calculation matrix as part of the service that will help you understand better on how much funds you need in order to breakeven, depending on the costs you have.
