This article explains whether our courses are still relevant for you as a 3Commas user, and why we changed our default platform.

Are the Strategies Software-Specific?

No. Our courses teach the underlying logic of automated bot trading, not the buttons of a single piece of software. That logic includes:

Choosing the right trading pairs based on liquidity and volatility
Configuring bot settings: base order, safety orders, take-profit, stop-loss
Reading signals and acting on them with proper timing
Managing risk and optimizing bot performance over time

The user interface differs between Altrady and 3Commas, but the principles are the same. If you are already comfortable with 3Commas, you can apply what you learn there without any problem.

Why We Recommend Altrady Over 3Commas

At some point in the past, we made the decision to switch our default trading platform from 3Commas to Altrady. Since then, all of our newer course material, video walkthroughs, and tool integrations are filmed on the Altrady interface.

A part of our community still uses 3Commas, and that is perfectly fine. However, if you are starting fresh today, we recommend going with Altrady so you can follow along with the most up-to-date video content step by step.

If you do not yet have a strong preference between platforms, choose Altrady. You will spend less time mentally translating between what you see in the videos and what you see on your own screen.

Do I need to switch from 3Commas to Altrady to take the course?

No. You can complete the course while continuing to use 3Commas. You will just need to translate the steps from the Altrady interface to the 3Commas interface as you go.

Will I be able to use TBT Signals on 3Commas?

Some of our signal services are integrated more tightly with Altrady. If you intend to use a specific signal service, contact our support team before purchasing so we can confirm compatibility with your current 3Commas setup.

Are there older course videos that still cover 3Commas?

Yes. Some legacy course material was originally filmed on 3Commas and may still be available inside the courses. However, these are being phased out and at some point will be completely removed. They might have already been removed, depending on when you are reading this article.
