How to Join The Better Traders Discord Server Using Your Invite Link

Overview

When you subscribe to The Better Traders, you will receive a personal Discord invite link (e.g., https://discord.gg/vmvfejgs) that gives you access to our private Discord server. This guide will walk you through exactly how to use that link — whether you already have a Discord account or need to create one.

What Is a Discord Invite Link?

A Discord invite link looks like this:

https://discord.gg/vmvfejgs

It has two parts:

• The domain: https://discord.gg/ — this is Discord’s standard invite URL.
• The invite code: vmvfejgs — this is the unique code tied to our server.

You can use either the full link or just the invite code to join. Both methods are explained below.

Method 1: Click the Full Invite Link (Easiest)

This is the fastest way to join. Simply click or tap on the full invite link you received.

If You Are Already Logged into Discord

1. Click the invite link (e.g., https://discord.gg/vmvfejgs). It will open in your web browser.
2. Discord will automatically detect your app. If you have the Discord desktop or mobile app installed, your browser will ask if you want to open the link in the Discord app. Click “Open Discord” or “Yes”.

3. You will see the server preview with our server name and a “Join Server” button.

4. Click “Join Server” — and you are in!

If You Are NOT Logged into Discord (But Have an Account)

1. Click the invite link. It will open the Discord website in your browser.
2. You will see two options: “Log In” and “Register” (or “Create Account”). Click “Already have an account? Log in” as shown below.

3. Sign in with your existing Discord email and password.
4. After logging in, the invite link will automatically activate and show you the server preview with the “Join Server” button.
5. Click “Join Server” — done!

If You Do Not Have a Discord Account Yet

1. Click the invite link. It will take you to the Discord website.
2. Click “Register” (or “Create Account”).
3. Fill in your details: email address, display name, username, password, and date of birth.

4. Verify your email by clicking the verification link Discord sends to your inbox. (Check your spam/junk folder if you do not see it.)
5. Once verified and logged in, go back to the invite link (click it again if needed) — it will now show you the server with a “Join Server” button.
6. Click “Join Server” — welcome aboard!

Method 2: Enter the Invite Code Manually Inside Discord

If clicking the link does not work, or if you prefer to join directly from within the Discord app, you can enter the invite code manually.

On Desktop (Windows / Mac)

1. Open the Discord app and make sure you are logged in.
2. Look at the left sidebar where your server icons are listed.
3. Click the “+” button (Add a Server) at the bottom of the server list.

4. Click “Join a Server” in the popup menu.

5. Paste the full invite link (https://discord.gg/vmvfejgs) or just the code (vmvfejgs) into the text field.

6. Click “Join Server” — you are in!

On Mobile (iOS / Android)

1. Open the Discord app and make sure you are logged in.
2. Tap the server list icon (swipe right or tap the hamburger menu).
3. Tap the “+” button at the bottom of your server list.
4. Tap “Join a Server”.
5. Paste the full invite link or just the code into the text field.
6. Tap “Join Server” — done!

After You Join — What Happens Next?

1. Check your DMs. You will receive a message from the TBT Club bot in your Discord Direct Messages. Make sure to read it carefully — it contains important information.
2. You will land in the server. You will be redirected to one of the starting channels on the server where you can begin exploring.
3. Your role will be assigned automatically. The system will verify your subscription and assign the appropriate role (Starter, Trader, or Pro) to your Discord account. This can take up to 10 minutes, so we ask you for a bit of patience.

Troubleshooting

The invite link says it is expired or invalid

Invite links have expiration dates. If your link does not work, contact our support team at support@thebettertraders.com and we will send you a fresh one.

I accidentally created a new Discord account

No worries — this happens! Contact our support team with your correct Discord username (the one you want to use). We will remove the incorrect account from the server and send you a new invite link.

The link opens in my browser but does not open the Discord app

Try one of these solutions:

• Copy the link and paste it directly in the Discord app using Method 2 above (the manual code entry method).
• Make sure the Discord app is installed and running on your device.
• Check your browser settings — it may be blocking the app from opening. Look for a popup or notification asking to “Open Discord.”

I joined but I cannot see any channels

Your roles may not have been assigned yet. Give it 10 minutes. If nothing happens, try forcing the verification of your status by following the instructions in the email you received with the invitation link. If all fails, contact our support team at support@thebettertraders.com and let them know your Discord username so we can set up your access.
